Frequently asked questions

No. The Chamber, the Foundation and the Cultural Center are three independent legal entities with separate leadership, finances and governance. They share this public front door and collaborate on programs — and every program, form and payment page names its single legal operator.

Yes. Programs are NHPI-led and rooted in island values, and many are open to the whole community. Eligibility is stated clearly on every program page.

Charitable gifts go to the Foundation or the Cultural Center, each an independent nonprofit. Chamber membership dues are not charitable contributions. Consult your tax advisor for your situation.
